The main character, Edge, is a member of the Raider's Guild. As a Raider, his job is to venture out and explore the Alterworlds. Along with his childhood friend, Iris, he takes on quests issued by the Guild to help others in need. On a quest, they discover a piece of the Escalario.
That's when they meet their rival, who's rumored to be the strongest Raider in history. There's also an annoying raider who keeps challenging Edge, two sisters who hope to rebuild their family's lost wealth, and a mysterious man behind the scnese. It's not just Edge and Iris who want to get their hands on the Escalario!
An innovative change for Atelier Iris 3 is the introduction of a symbol encounter system, in which players no longer randomly encounter enemies, but visually confirm and engage them!
